The Lisu Hill tribe people in Thailand, the Lisu tribe consists more then 58 different clans. Each clan has its own surname and name. The biggest Lisu clans are Laemae pha (Shue or The Grass), Thorne pha, Ngwa Pha (Fish), Bya pha (The Bee), Naw pha (Thou or Bean), Seu pha ( the Woods) and the Khaw Pha.
